EDD D. CONLEY

Edd Conley, 84, of Pound, entered into eternity Monday, March 23, 2020 from the Norton Community Hospital.

Edd was of the Freewill Baptist faith. He was retired from the Fairfax County School Board as a truck driver with over 33 years of experience. Edd was a hard worker and believed in providing for his family. Edd and Zena moved back home after his retirement to enjoy life in a small town. He enjoyed the slower pace. Edd enjoyed time with his family, he also enjoyed old television shows and westerns.

Edd was preceded in death by his wife Zena Dare (Frasure) Conley; his parents Marion and Emily (Fleming) Conley; sisters Agnes Stewart, Sara Whitaker and Ora Wright; and brothers Dallas, Troy, Milton, Andy, Roy and Estel Conley.

Survivors include his daughter Carol Sue Freeman of Falls Church; his sons Stephen Conley of Fredericksburg, Edd Conley Jr. of Pound and Rusty Lee Conley of Fairfax; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; special niece and caretaker Donna Mullins of Pound; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends and loved ones.

Private funeral services for the immediate family were conducted at 7 pm Wednesday, March 25 in the Baker Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Randy Carter officiating.

Graveside services were conducted at 11 am Thursday March 26 at the Crouse Cemetery in Pound.

Due to restrictions set forth by the CDC and Virginia state mandates in regards to CoVid-19, limits have been set on the number of people that can attend a public or private gathering. At this time it is out of the control of either the family or the funeral home and we hope that everyone understands the situation during this time.
