Colley Brennen McCoy, 50, of Pound, entered into a heavenly reunion Friday June 5, 2020 with the Lord and his family members that had gone before him from the Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA.

Colley was a devout Christian and attended several churches in the area. He loved the Lord and telling people about his faith.

Colley was a humble and loving person, he had a kind and caring nature and was always willing to help others. Colley was always gentle and never had a harsh thing to say about anyone, he would just smile and move on.

Colley was a 1988 graduate of Pound High School and spent his entire life as a retail clerk working at several area grocery and retail stores. He loved working with the public. Colley was an avid sports fan, he loved high school football and basketball and was a devoted North Carolina Tar Heels basketball fan. He also loved science fiction, especially Star Trek. Colley also had an amazing memory and could remember numbers and details with incredible  accuracy. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Colley was preceded in death by his sister Valerie Lynne McCoy; his maternal grandparents Hoflin and Anita (Bolling) Fleming and his paternal grandparents Kermit and Ada McCoy.

Survivors include his loving mother and step-father Lynne and Pete Burk of Pound; his father and step-mother Newton and Irene McCoy of Pound; his half-brother, Conner McCoy of Pound; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday, June 9 in the Baker Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Randy Carter officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until time of services. Due to current regulations, all guests are required to wear a face mask.

Burial will follow in the Bolling Cemetery in Pound where Matthew Bolling, Conner McCoy, Harold Greer, Tyler Mullins, Jonathan Whittaker and Randy Kilgore will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Pound United Methodist Church at P. O. Box 1208 Pound, VA 24279.
