DEWEY HARLEY KILGORE

Dewey Harley Kilgore, 99, of Norton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 14, 2021at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN.

He was of the Christian Faith and was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Cleo Ruth Hensley Kilgore; his parents and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are his daughter, Vicki Kilgore Lane and husband David of Norton; grandchildren, Abbi Lane Rutherford and husband Abe, Gretchen Lane Gurmu and husband Michael and Austin Lane; great-grandchildren, Anna Rutherford and Ezra Rutherford; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Dewey Kilgore will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, February 19, at the Sturgill Funeral Home chapel in Wise with Pastor Robert Fultz Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. Friday.

Burial will be in the Addington-Hensley Cemetery.
