INA SLEMP MEADE

Ina Slemp Meade, 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN.

Ina was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord. She attended Indian Creek Freewill Baptist Church and was a retired employee from Wise County Social Services.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Avner and Vivian Hubbard Slemp and a brother-in-law, Roger Freeman.

Surviving are her husband Everette; daughters, Beth Dingus and husband Bobby and Teresa Powers and husband Steven; grandson, Patrick Boggs; great-granddaughters, Cara and Reiley; sister, Elizabeth Freeman; beloved hound dog, Boone and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Ina Meade was conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Christ Strange and Rev. Joel Cantrell officiating. Burial followed in the Hubbard-Stapleton Cemetery. The family received friends from 12:00 noon till time of services at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Sturgill Funeral Home Wise, VA.
