Amendment to the Town of Wise Zoning Ordinance

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Town of Wise Planning Commission and Wise Town Council will conduct a joint meeting and public hearing on Tuesday March 28, 2023 at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers of the Wise Municipal Building at 501 West Main Street, Wise, VA for the purpose of soliciting public comment on a proposed amendment to the Town of Wise Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Regulations allowing for campgrounds in the R-B, B-1, and B-2 zoning districts as a conditional use.

A copy of the proposed ordinance is on file in the office of the Town Planner where it may be examined by interested parties during normal business hours. Any person may appear and present their views during the scheduled public hearing. All who are interested are encouraged to attend.

More information regarding this proposed amendment will be made available on the Town of Wise website (townofwise.net) as well as the Town of Wise - Planning and Zoning Facebook page.
