The object of this suit is to enforce the lien of the Complainant, County of Wise, Virginia, for delinquent real estate taxes against certain real property located in the County of Wise, Virginia, described as follows:

All that certain tract or parcel of land, together with improvements thereon and appurtenances thereunto belonging, lying and being in the Town of Big Stone Gap, Wise County, Virginia, bounded and described as follows, to-wit:

All that certain Lot Number 17 and 10 feet on the east side of Lot Number 18, in Block 194, Plat No. 5 in the Town of Big Stone Gap, Wise County, Virginia, which plat is of record in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Wise County, Virginia, in Deed Book 32, at Pages 26 through 29, to which reference is hereby made for a more complete description of said lot or parcel of land.

And being the same property conveyed to Ralph Nelson Shuler and Ruth Marie Shuler, his wife, from Kenneth M. Morelock and Bernice Morelock, his wife, by Deed dated January 10, 1949, and recorded November 15, 1949, in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Wise County, Virginia, in Deed Book 292, at Page 185.

The said Ralph Nelson Shuler died December 11, 1950, and the said Ruth Marie Shuler died December 12, 2013, passing their interest in the above-described property via intestate succession to their children, namely Ralph Nelson Shuler, Jr., Judy Ann Lane, and Ronald Darwin Shuler.

And further being the same property conveyed to Laura Lane from Judy Ann Lane by Deed of Gift dated and recorded April 6, 2021, in the aforementioned Clerk's Office as Instrument Number 202101416.

This description is made subject to all easements, conditions, agreements, restrictions, and reservations of record which affect the property herein described including but not limited to those recorded in Instrument Number 202101416 .

IT APPEARING that an Affidavit has been made and filed stating that due diligence has been used, without effect, to ascertain the identity and location of certain parties to be served, that the last known addresses for the Respondents herein are as follows: Ralph Nelson Shuler, Jr., who is believed to be deceased and whose last known address is P.O. Box 9406, Henrico, Virginia 23228; Ralph Nelson Shuler, III, who is believed to be deceased and whose last known address is 4715 Red Duck Court, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462; Shane J. Mackiewicz, whose last known address is 3185 Stonewood Drive, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23456; Kevin Monroe Shuler, who is believed to be deceased and whose last known address is 1509 Indiana Avenue, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23454; Ronald Darwin Shuler, who is believed to be deceased and whose last known address is 2213 4th Avenue E, Big Stone Gap, Virginia 24219; Ronald David Shuler, whose last known address is 2123 Alto Street, Big Stone Gap, Virginia 24219; Jerry Lee Shuler, whose last known address is 2213 4th Avenue E, Big Stone Gap, Virginia 24219; Laura Lane, whose last known address is 2213 4th Avenue E, #26, Big Stone Gap, Virginia 24219; and that any officers, heirs, devisees, and successors in title of the Respondent named herein are made parties Respondent to this action individually and/or by the general description of Parties Unknown, it is hereby

ORDERED that the parties herein and all Parties Unknown and/or whose location cannot be ascertained appear on or before October 21, 2024 in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of the County of Wise, Virginia, and do what may be necessary to protect their interests in this cause.
