JOB OPENING- UTILITY BILLING SUPERVISOR– The City of Norton is currently looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to fill the position of utility billing supervisor.  The primary role of the position is to perform billing of monthly water/ sewer/ garbage fees.  The position also handles customer inquiries of various nature pertaining to water, sewer, and garbage fees.  Candidates for the position should be responsible, organized and detail oriented.  Strong written and oral communication skills and Microsoft Office proficiency is a must.   A minimum of a high school education or equivalent is required.  The salary will be based on qualifications and is accompanied by a benefits package that includes competitive health insurance, funding in the Virginia Retirement System, paid time off including vacation, Holiday, and Sick time.  This position will be held open until filled.
