Cuttin’ 4 the Cause aids cancer fund

Owners and operators of Geneses and Todd’s Hair Studio in Wise recently presented a check for $24,406, the proceeds of the salons’ 2016 Cuttin’ 4 the Cause cut-a-thon, to the Mountain Laurel Cancer Support and Resource Center’s Ruben Lovell Fund, which pays for travel for cancer diagnosis, treatment and surgery and for liquid nutritional supplements for cancer patients. Mountain Laurel is a Mountain Empire Older Citizens program.
