TIMOTHY BLAKE GIBSON

Timothy Blake Gibson, of Tazewell, VA, died on Friday, December 6, 2019, after a valiant fight against leukemia.

He was born on August 11, 1949 to Paul and Frankie Gibson, both deceased, of Wise, Virginia. He attended Cumberland College and was on the track team there. He spent his earlier years completing in horse shows in the region.

Tim is survived by three children, Christy Sturgill, Timothy Gibson, Paul Gibson, two grandchildren, and one great grandchild, sisters, Paula (Dennis) Mullins, Patricia Gibson Smith (Baldwin), and Jaynie Gibson.

Visitation will be on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. followed by a service at 2 p.m. at Ralph Potter Memorial Service Church, 8664 Taft Road, in Wise, Virginia.
