Help to keep students reading into the summer

May 04, 2020

Many thanks to all of our parents and families who have stepped up to the challenges of teaching your children at home during the Covid-19 crisis.

While you have taught many things, most experts will agree that reading remains the most important. The Lonesome Pine Regional Library branches are here to help you keep your child reading throughout the rest of this academic school year and into the summer.

Although the library buildings are all still closed to the public, it is possible to pick up your books on our porches! In recognition of Children's Book Week, May 4 - 10, you may call or go online at www.lprlibrary.orq to make your requests.

If you don't know exactly what your child would like, let us bundle five books on a particular topic your child has interest in. We will also be including a short survey for your input on how we can help you and your child keep reading this summer. Don't forget to return this survey with your books!
