MARY VIVIAN ‘BILL’ BOLLING

Mary Vivian “Bill” Bolling, of Wise, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020, at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Big Stone Gap, VA. She was born in Rose Hill, VA. Bill lived most of her life in Wise, VA.

She was the daughter of the late Hobart Rouse and Hazel Edith DeBusk Rouse of Rose Hill, Virginia. She was 93 years, 8 months, and 19 days of age at her passing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence J. Bolling, of Wise; two brothers, Earl Rouse and Paul Rouse; and one sister, Opal Rouse Lowe all of Rose Hill.

She is survived by a sister, Wilma Rouse Crockett, of Rose Hill; a special nephew and niece, RW and Vicki Lowe of Norton; great nieces, Angelica Jill Shoffner and husband Jimmie and their three sons, Justin, Joshua, and Jacob; and Rebecca Large and husband Tommy. Additionally, survived by other nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was affectionately known to many as “Auntie” or “Granny” as she was a loving soul and caregiver to many others throughout the days of her life.

Services for Mary Vivian Bolling will be private. Burial will be held in the Flat Gap Cemetery in Pound, VA. Please visit www.sturgillfuneral.com to leave online condolences for the family.
