BARRY HENSLEY

Robert Barry Hensley, 57, of Duffield, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 14, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sonny and Joanne Hensley, his father-in-law, Jess Townsend and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Collins.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Shelby Louise Townsend Hensley; a daughter, Rose Marie Hensley (Lucas Hill) of Kingsport, TN; granddaughter, Skylar Marie Hill (arriving in May); special daughter, Becky Stevens of Duffield; siblings, Gwen Collins of Flat Rock, Mi., Bub (Swanda) Hensley of Big Stone Gap, Steve Hensley of Big Stone Gap, May (Richard) Enochs of Southgate, MI, Irma (Tom) Stoots of Lincoln Park, MI; mother-in-law, Juanita Townsend of Duffield; his in-laws, Robin Ramey of Duffield, Charlie (Stella) Townsend of Duffield, Joyce (Mike) Hensley of Norton, Wanda (Fred) Williams of Blackwater, Mark Townsend (Donna Falin) of Duffield, Robert (Kim) Townsend of Duffield; many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm Thursday, February 18, at Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home in Norton. Funeral services will be conducted at 6 pm in the funeral home chapel. Graveside committal services will be conducted at 11 am Friday, February 19, at Laurel Grove Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10:30 am Friday to travel in procession to the cemetery.
