Big Stone Gap schools reunion coming up in June

Attention all Bears, Buccaneers, Buffaloes, Bulldogs, Tigers, and Vikings! The annual Big Stone Gap schools reunion is coming up June 26-27, 2021 at MECC.  The reunion is not only for graduates of Big Stone Gap High School, but for graduates of any schools in the Big Stone Gap area – Union, Powell Valley, Appalachia, East Stone Gap, Bland, and Central. There will be a dinner Saturday evening, June 26, at 6 p.m. at the Goodloe Center at Mountain Empire Community College. In addition, there will be a luncheon Sunday afternoon, June 27, at 1 p.m. also at the Goodloe Center. You may choose to attend either or both. Cost of the dinner is $30 per person; cost of the luncheon is $15 per person.

Invitations have been sent to those on our mailing list.  Many younger alumni are not on that list, so for 2021 we have added an online signup (https://my.cheddarup.com/c/bsg-schools-reunion-2021) where you may sign up and pay via credit card - for a small fee.

If you prefer mailing a check, there is a link on the site to the mail-in signup sheet that you can print and mail with a check. If you cannot print the signup sheet, you may send a check made payable to “BSG Class Reunion” to Ann Marrs, 1011 1st Ave E, Big Stone Gap, VA, 24219. Please include the names of those attending with address and phone number, as well as school affiliation.
