John I. Burton Class of 1971 celebrates 50 years since graduation

The John I. Burton Class of 1971 celebrated their 50th class reunion, July 17, 2021.
Activities began with a tour of the high school, bringing back memories and observing the changes the decades had brought.

The class members enjoyed dinner together at the Sugar Hill Cidery in Norton, during which the participants took time to reminisce about the good times attending John I. Burton High School and growing up in Norton.
Former teachers, Coach Al Stecker, Mrs. Jane Stecker, Coach C.G. Mainous, and Mrs. Jackie Mainous surprised the class members by visiting with the group.
Entertainment followed with music provided by Mark Wooten, Dicky Ward, and members of the Fatty Livers Band.
