WANDA KAY MOORE

Wanda Kay Moore age 69, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022, at the Norton Community Hospital in Norton, VA. 

Wanda was born in Norton to the late Herald and Lola Bond Ward. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by three brothers Dwight Ward, Kyle Ward, and Kenny Ward.

Wanda retired from Jerico with 22 years of service. She was a loving wife and mother that was devoted to her family. 

 She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years General “J.R.” Moore; her daughter Rosa-lee Cooke and husband Jerry; brother Dennis Ward and wife Catherine and their daughter Emily; special friends the Palmer family and her special pet companion Socks. 

 The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7 from the Estes Funeral Home chapel in Coeburn. Funeral services will follow with Pastor Joe Dearry officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Wanda.
