BRENDA GAIL BRIGHT

Brenda Gail Bright, 64, Coeburn, VA passed away, Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at her residence.

She was born in Norton, VA on October 18, 1958, and was the daughter of Jonell “Nell” (Harbin) Salyer, and the late Luther Salyer.

Brenda loved her family and friends, always going above and beyond to help everyone in any way possible. She was a light of love and warmth with hugs that could almost take away any pain or sadness. She was a rock for all of us.

She was always happy, and loved to joke around, making everyone around her smile.

Taken away from us way too soon, we know she is in a better place looking down on all of us, as our Guardian Angel.

She leaves behind her husband, Edward Bright; her children, Kimberly Plaster, Christina Currier, and Justin Bright, stepson, Michael Corder; grandchildren, Khloe Ellis, Dylan Johnson, and Blake Johnson; mother, Nell Salyer; brother, Billy Ray Salyer; sisters, Linda Johnson, and Patricia Counts, along with her best friend, Lisa Christian, and many other good friends who were always there for her.

Celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 5-8pm at the Cultural Arts Building, 105 Steve Hubbard Dr, Coeburn, VA 24230.
