JACQUELINE SUE MAINOUS

Jacqueline Sue Mainous was born August 22, 1933 and passed away peacefully at home on September 16, 2022. She was 89 years old. Sue, as she preferred to be called, is survived by her only son Ron S Mainous of Grand Prairie, TX and brother Tom Collier of Cincinnati, OH.

 
Sue married her husband Carl H. Mainous in 1951, they were happily married for 70 years until Carl’s passing in May of 2022. Sue graduated from Wright State University and went on to get her master’s degree at University of Dayton. She had a celebrated teaching career that lasted over 20 years with the Dayton Ohio School District.

 
Sue had a lasting and positive influence on many of her students, friends, and loved ones throughout the years. Sue and Carl had many exciting travel experiences over their time together visiting such countries as Mexico, Greece, Italy, and Israel.
