LILLA MIDDLETON

Lilla (Justine) Middleton, 95, died Friday, December 23, 2022, at her residence. She was a charter member of the Norton Pentecostal Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Middleton; one sister and five brothers.

She is survived by her sons, Raymond Middleton and his wife Gayle of Coeburn, Va., Larry Middleton of Appalachia, Va., Leonard Middleton and his wife Barb of Norton, Va.; her daughters, Euritha Sloce and her husband Roger of Norton, Va., Irene Duncan and her husband Tommy of Ocala, Fla., Anna Fields and her husband David of Denver, NC; seventeen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and a wonderful church family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7 pm Thursday, December 29, 2022, in the Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Sloce officiating. Graveside committal services will be conducted at 11 am Friday at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10:30 am to travel in procession to the cemetery.
