NATHANIEL WILLIAM JOSIAH JORDAN
Nathaniel William Josiah Jordan,14, entered into eternity, and was welcomed into Heaven by his savior Jesus Christ Sunday April 23, 2023.
Nate’s faith was in Christ and Christ alone. He faithfully attended West End Baptist Church in Big Stone Gap, VA. Nate was born in Norton, VA on January 20, 2009. He was a 7th grade student at L F Addington Middle School in Wise, VA where he excelled in sports, especially basketball and football, and the classroom. He was popular and charismatic and made everyone around him smile. If you knew him, you loved him. Nate never met a stranger. He loved the ladies, spicy noodles and milk with ice. He always wanted his back scratched and wasn’t afraid to ask anyone. Nate’s best friend was his dog Koda. He loved to work with his dad and wash cars. Nate looked up to his siblings more than anything, especially his brother Noah. Nate’s dream was to become a first responder, especially an EMT, so he could help people. He dreamed of having a Philippians 4:13 tattoo “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”. He was the type of guy to make everyone laugh as he walked into the room. From a young age he loved music. He loved to sing and play with his Mom at church and at home. He was always listening to music and made people change what they listen to in the car. Not only did he love all these things, but he loved the Lord most.
