JUDY SHARON JOHNSON

Cherished Judy Sharon “Shady” Johnson left this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the age of 78.

A true and faithful native, Sharon was born, raised, and lived out her joyous life in Wise, VA and radiated her love to everyone around her with her charming personality and big, bright smile. Sharon kept those she loved close to her, to include lifelong friends from childhood. She remained the matriarch of the family until the end with her enthralling stories and kind heart. Sharon will forever be missed and remembered as a magnificent mother, grandmother, sister, and wife.

Sharon began her beautiful family by marrying the late, Jimmie Johnson.

She is survived by her two wonderful daughters, Rhonda Couch and husband Pat and Jenifer Carroll and husband Brian; as well as, an only granddaughter, Maddison Morris and husband Lee; brother, Doug Roberts; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Sharon “Shady” Johnson will be held from 12:00 noon till 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
