CLINTON WYTHE HAWKINS, JR

Clinton Wythe Hawkins, Jr, 70, of Coeburn, VA entered into rest Friday, January 26, 2024, at Norton Community Hospital. He was born in Norton on July 25, 1953 to Clinton and Agnes Hawkins of Coeburn, VA. Clint was an active member of the Coeburn Volunteer Fire Department where he dedicated his life fighting fires and serving his community for over 50 years. He was also a member of the Wise County Haz-Mat Team for 38 years. Clint loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed his days sitting with friends at Collins Auto in Coeburn, VA.

Clint is preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Hawkins; father, Clinton Hawkins, Sr; his wife, Linda K. Hawkins; son, Clinton "Little Clint" Hawkins III and his brother, Charles Hawkins.

Surviving is his brothers, Clifton Hawkins and wife, Sharon of Coeburn, VA and Craig Hawkins of Knoxville, VA; nieces, Shaya Hawkins and Sierra Morgan and husband, Randy both of Coeburn, VA. ; two great-nephews, Noah and Eli Morgan of Coeburn, VA; several extended family and friends.

The family received friends on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Estes Funeral Home in Coeburn, VA. Services followed at 7 p.m.; Pastor Brian Rose and Joshua Adkins officiated. Graveside services will be Friday, February 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in Greenwood Acres Cemetery in Coeburn, VA. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. to proceed to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Coeburn Volunteer Fire Department Members.
