JACKIE RADFORD REED, III

Jackie (Jack) Radford Reed, III, 73, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Whitesburg Appalachia Regional Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky after a short illness. He was born on July 22,1950 in Pearisburg, VA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Reed, Jr.

Surviving are his wife, Janice Diets Reed; Mom, Shelbie Reed; brother, Kim Reed all of Coeburn, VA; sister, Rebecca Reed Stidham of Kansas City, MO; niece Denise and husband Joel Mayer and their three sons Christopher, Nathaniel, and Benjamin all of Kansas City, MO; niece Melissa and her husband Richard Smith of Hereford, AZ and their two sons Trevor of Joint Base McGuire-Dix, Lakehurst, NJ and Alek of Hereford, AZ. He also left behind many extended family members and friends.

A family gathering was held on March 12 at Sturgill Funeral Home in Coeburn. Special thanks to all our friends for prayers and well wishes.
