TOMMIE LOU PIERSON

Tommie Lou Pierson, 66 passed away Thursday April 11, 2024 @ 1:06 a.m. with complications from open heart surgery.

Tommie was born on September 27, 1957. Tommie had a love for gardening, being outdoors and loved helping people. Tommie was one of the rare kind that could instantly make you feel better by walking in the room. Always willing to help or to listen, not because she had to but because she genuinely cared. She was a blessing to all that knew her and her memory will always be a bright spot in our hearts and one of our most cherished possessions.

Tommie was preceded in death by both of her parents, two brothers and a grandson.

Tommie is survived by two daughters , Lora Mullins of Fall Branch, TN, Jonie and husband Jason Hill of Norton, VA, two sisters, Kathy and husband Ron Pickett of Millersville, MO, Tammie Lancaster of St. Louis, MO, a special and loving friend Lewis Reed as well as five grandsons, one granddaughter, two great-grandchildren, multiple foster grandchildren, as well as multiple close and very special friends she considered family and held very close to her heart and loved very much.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday April 18, 2024 at Mount Zion Baptist Church 284 Mount Zion Church Road, Jonesborough, TN. 37659.
