Town of Wise Council - Conditional Use Permit, submitted by William and Jan Thompson

The Town of Wise Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday September 24, 2024, at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers of the Wise Municipal Building at 501 West Main Street, Wise, VA for the purpose of soliciting public comment on an application for approval of a Conditional Use Permit, submitted by William and Jan Thompson, to operate a short-term rental at 334 Masonic Street, Wise, VA 24293. Said property is located in the R-B Medium Density Residence Zone. The Town of Wise Council will conduct a review of the application to ensure careful compatibility with neighboring conditions in accordance with the terms of the Town of Wise Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Regulations, adopted March 23, 1987 and as amended to date.  

A copy of the Conditional Use Permit application is on file in the office of the Town Planner where it may be examined by interested parties during normal business hours. Any person may appear and present their views during the scheduled public hearing. All who are interested are encouraged to attend. After the conclusion of the public hearing, the Wise Town Council may move to approve or deny said Conditional Use Permit application.
