JOHN MACK HUBBARD

NORTON, VA – John Mack Hubbard, 79, died Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Norton at Community Hospital. He was a son of the late Carl and Gladys Adams Hubbard. He was a US Army Veteran having served during Vietnam and was a former member of VFW Post 4301 in Norton. He was a former member of the Norton Christian Church and Suthers Lodge 256 in Norton. In addition  to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Spencer Hubbard and a sister, Patricia Pate.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Hubbard of Norton, Va.; a son, John M. Hubbard II and his friend Danielle Calderon of Chicago, IL; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm Monday, September 23, 2024, at Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home in Norton. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Acres Cemetery in Coeburn, VA.
