Public Meeting

for

Flannagan Hydroelectric 

Project, P-15296

     On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Tivis Branch Hydro, LLC of 5 Dover Street, Suite 102, New Bedford, MA will hold a joint agency/public meeting and site visit to explain the Tivis Branch Hydro’s proposal and its potential environmental impact, to review the information provided, and to discuss the data obtained and studies conducted as part of the requirements per the 18 C.F.R. §4.38(b)(3) licensing consultation process.

     The meeting will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and will be held at the Sleep Inn Conference room at 5625 Dickenson Hwy, Clintwood, VA 24228. The meeting may also be attended virtually. 

     A site visit will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time to look at the place for the proposed substation, to see the discharge location and to discuss the intake. At the Army Corps’ discretion, a visit inside the tower may take place for U.S. citizens with pre-approved security clearances.

    All local, state and federal agencies, Indian tribes, and other interested parties are invited to participate. There will be no transcript of the meeting, but a summary of the meeting will be prepared for the project record.
