HEARING on the naming of bridge the “Tate Brothers Memorial Bridge”

PUBLIC NOTICE
    The Wise County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. in the School Board Education Center Meeting Room located on Lake Street in Wise to receive citizens’ comments on the naming of bridge the “Tate Brothers Memorial Bridge” located on East Stone Gap Road approximately 125 feet southeast of the intersection with Clinch Haven Road.

Wise is hosting a trick-or-treat event at the Big Glades tomorrow, 5-7 p.m. A costume contest happens at 6:30 p.m., and a showing of 'The Haunted Mansion' screens at 7 p.m. Town-wide trick-or-treating takes place Oct. 31, 5-7 p.m. Please be responsible and check your children's candy.
