ALICE FAE MULLINS WILLIS

Alice Fae Mullins Willis, 82, went home to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, surrounded by family after a short illness.
She was the fourth of eight children born to Beldon and Maggie Crabtree Mullins.
Fae raised three daughters and worked at various jobs in Clintwood and Norton, VA.
Her last employment was Underwriters Safety & Claims from 1991 to 2018 where she made long lasting friendships. She was an avid Dale Earnhart, Jr. fan. She attended J. J. Kelly High School.
Fae was of the Baptist faith and attended Norton Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Anna C. (Garland Collins) and Emma L. (Tommy) Large.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Laura Sue Willis, her caregiver, Lee Ann (Mike) Lyall and Cecil Lynn (Candace Hobbs) Willis; One grandson, Monty Clay (Cassie) Salyer; four great-grandchildren, Hannah Beth, Jude, Haddilyn and Brynn Salyer; her siblings, Sue Parsons,
Freddie Mullins, Gary Mullins, Rhonda (Scott) Perkins and Eddy (Susan) Mullins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Alice Fae Mullins Willis will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, November 3, 2024 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Rev. Billy Hibbitts officiating. Family will receive friends from 3:00 P.M. till time of services at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, November 3, 2024 at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org in honor of her great-granddaughter, Hannah Beth Salyer.
