EVERETT LEE STALLARD

Everett Lee Stallard, April 4, 1937 – November 1, 2024, the eldest of five children, was born to Marvin Dennis and Laura Bevins Stallard in Wise County Virginia on April 4, 1937. He began his education in a two-room school building at Doston ,located on Bold Camp where the family resided. After attending elementary school through the sixth grade, he attended seventh grade housed in a Quonset hut located on the grounds of the old Pound High School. He graduated from Pound High School in 1956.
In January 1957, Lee became an employee of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He enjoyed his career with the FBI holding many positions of trust and responsibility. In May 1992 with 35+ years, Lee retired as the Manager of Fingerprint Examining, Technical Section of the Identification Division.
In May 1958, Lee married Kay Frances Peters from Scott County Virginia. After moving several times they settled in Wicomico Church on the Northern Neck of Virginia in Rappahannock County. Little did they know their home was only 55 miles from their common ancestor, Walter Stallard.
Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping along with many other outdoor activities. In recent times, music became another hobby which he enjoyed, playing alone or with family and friends.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Russell (Linda Austin) Stallard, Sisters Mary Jewel Stallard Greene, and Shirley Stallard Wood.
Survivors: Wife of 66 years: Kay Frances Peters Stallard, Sons: Gregory (Maria) Stallard and Brian (Jeanie) Stallard, Sister: Martha Stallard (Harry) Mahieu, Grandchildren: Kristina (Jamie) Sullivan, Michelle (Jeffery) Nelson
Ryan (Monica) Flaherty, Mary Kathryn (Elijah) Franklin Amanda Stallard, Ronald Stallard, Rachel Stallard, Great Grandchildren: Chloe Sullivan, Caroline Sullivan, Audrey Sullivan, Andrew Sullivan, Ava Nelson, Lilian Nelson, Caleb Nelson, Nathan Flaherty-Martin, Eileen Flaherty, Emily Flaherty, Lylah Franklin, Noah Franklin, Alison Flaherty, Autumn Jacobs, Daniel Jacobs and Ezra Lee Stallard.
Brothers-in-Law: James Greene, Richard Wood II, Several nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was laid to rest November the 9th at Laurel Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park 10127 Plank Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22553.
