Missing man found safe

At 11:43am, Wise County Dispatch Center received notification from Beverly Hills Police Department in California that an officer had come into contact with a male subject. Upon running the male’s information they discovered that he had been entered as a missing person from Wise County.

Joshua Moore was safe and a photograph was taken of him by the responding officer. Moore was also advised that he had been reported missing and that his family was trying to make contact with him. Moore declined transportation assistance back to Wise County. 

I commend the dedicated effort and teamwork of all officers of the Coeburn Police Department. We would also like to thank the Wise County Sheriff’s Office, Coeburn Fire Department, Mayor Mooney, and all of the volunteers and citizens that assisted in the search for Mr. Moore.
