In Loving Memory of Ammu Dusta Maria Boggs
She was a graduate of Central High School, Wise, VA, where she excelled in the performing arts, winning many awards for her giftof performing on stage; her presence lit up the stage where she was free to express her feelings. She was always grateful to Mrs. T,Jan Thompson, for providing her with the opportunity to perform. Her presence on stage was a reminder of the joy in life which sheshared with those who knew her.
She was attending cosmetology school in Delta, Colorado, and would have graduated in June.
Maria was a blessing to her family and friends; she brought joy, kindness and strength to those around her. She will be rememberedfor her unwavering love for her family, her faith and her compassion for others. She loved animals and was a volunteer at the animal shelter in Gunnison, Colorado, where she resided.
She leaves behind her parents, Willard and Meena Boggs and her brother, George Boggs, Wise, Virginia, her sister, Geanette Boggs,Pound, VA, her maternal grandmother, Ammukutty George/her maternal grandfather, the belated George Kurian, Kerala, India,paternal grandparents, C.L. and Loretha Boggs, Pound, VA, and many relatives and friends in VA, Colorado and India.
Although her time with us was far too short, Maria touched the hearts of many and left an indelible mark on those who knew her.Her legacy of love, caring, laughter and faith will always be a reminder to see the good in our lives. We take comfort in knowingthat she is now at peace in the loving arms of our Lord. While we grieve the loss of our beloved Maria, we are grateful for theprecious time we shared with her and we will forever hold her in our hearts.
