RAYMOND VINCENT DALE

Wise, VA - Raymond Vincent Dale, 81, experienced God's promise of eternal life Saturday, February 22, 2025 as he was welcomed into Heaven by his Savior Jesus Christ.

Raymond was a loving husband, father and friend. He was a God-fearing Christian who showed Christlike love and compassion to all. He would always greet you with a firm handshake, smile and big hug. It will never be known on this side of eternity how many people his life impacted.

Raymond was a welder and mechanic for General Trucking and A & G Coal Corporation for over 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nannie Dale Bates: two brothers, Franklin L. Dale and Billy Wayne Dale. 

Surviving are his loving Wife of 57 years, Mary Alice (Micky) Dale; two sons, Steven Vincent Dale and wife Christy and Adrian Shane Dale and wife Melody; three grandsons, Jeremy Vincent Dale, Wyatt Jackson Dale and Elijah Scott Lovell; brother and sister-in-law, Jack Tolbert, Jr. and wife Marsha; several very special nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He also had many others refer to him as "Dad".

A Celebration of Life service for Raymond Dale will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel in Wise, VA with Reverend Gary Hill officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. till time of services at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Sturgill Funeral Home in Wise, VA. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the Wise Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at 10:40 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home to go to the cemetery in procession.
