The object of this suit is to enforce the lien of the Complainant, County of Wise, Virginia, for delinquent real estate taxes against certain real property located in the County of Wise, Virginia, described as follows:

All that certain tract or parcel of land, situate in the Town of Appalachia, Wise County, Virginia, known as Lot 15, as shown upon a plat known and marked as Final Plat of Woodland Acres Subdivision located at Appalachia, Virginia, dated November 24, 1982, of record in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Wise County, Virginia, in Plat Book 006, at Page 28, now known as Instrument Number 201405892, to which reference is here made for a more complete description of the property herein described.
And being the same property conveyed to Lanny Estridge and Sarah Estridge, husband and wife, as tenants by the entirety with the right of survivorship, from Woodland Acres Corporation, a Virginia corporation, by Deed dated June 26, 1984, and recorded July 10, 1984, in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Wise County, Virginia, in Deed Book 595, at Page 566.
The said Lanny Estridge and Sarah Estridge are believed to have been divorced, thus changing the tenancy to tenants in common, each having a one-half interest in the above-described property.
The said Lanny Estridge died November 20, 2015, and pursuant to his List of Heirs dated April 21, 2016, and recorded April 25, 2016, in the aforementioned Clerk’s Office as Instrument Number 201601873, Lanny Estridge may have passed his interest in the above-described property to his children, namely Lori Michelle Bevins, Lanny Lee Estridge, and Aaron Edmond Estridge.
This description is made subject to all easements, conditions, agreements, restrictions, and reservations of record which affect the property herein described including but not limited to those recorded in Deed Book 556, at Page 607, Deed Book 579, at Page 462, Deed Book 525, at Page 40, Deed Book 524, at Page 795, Deed Book 498, at Page 746, Deed Book 134, at Page 98, Deed Book 498, at Page 738, and Deed Book 498, at Page 744.
IT APPEARING that an Affidavit has been made and filed stating that due diligence has been used, without effect, to ascertain the identity and location of certain parties to be served, that the last known addresses for the Respondents herein are as follows: Lori Michelle Bevins, whose last known address is 1416 Holton Avenue E, Big Stone Gap, Virginia 24219; Lanny Lee Estridge, whose last known address is P.O. Box 207, Appalachia, Virginia 24216; Aaron Edmund Estridge, whose last known address is 671 Woodland Drive, Appalachia, Virginia 24216; Sarah Estridge aka Sarah J. Naylor, whose last known address is 215 Clinton Avenue E, Big Stone Gap, Virginia 24219; and that any officers, heirs, devisees, and successors in title of the Respondent named herein are made parties Respondent to this action individually and/or by the general description of Parties Unknown, it is hereby
ORDERED that the parties herein and all Parties Unknown and/or whose location cannot be ascertained appear on or before June 9, 2025 in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of the County of Wise, Virginia, and do what may be necessary to protect their interests in this cause.
