Transit Fleet Sale 2025

    Mountain Empire Older Citizens, Inc., is offering the following vehicles for sale: five (5) body-on-chassis buses, one (1) pickup truck; and one (1) four-wheel-drive vehicle. 

    Interested parties should contact Mitch Elliott at 276-523-7433 for a detailed listing of vehicles and minimum bid for each unit. MEOC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to negotiate with any qualified bidder.  

     Sealed bids will be accepted until 1 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025. The outside envelope label must contain “SEALED BID FOR SALE OF EQUIPMENT” and be addressed to Mitch Elliott, Mountain Empire Older Citizens, Inc., P.O. Box 888, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219. Bids must contain a valid name, address, phone number and vehicle number.  

     Vehicles are available for inspection by appointment. All vehicles are offered on an as-is, where-is basis. All successful bids will be considered a binding contract of sale. Cash or certified check required. Equipment must be removed from property within 10 days of purchase.
