APPLICATION NUMBER: 1011740

A&G Coal Corporation of 302 South Jefferson St; Roanoke, VA 24011 is applying to the Virginia Division of Mined Land Repurposing for a Renewal of PERMIT No. 1302047/NPDES 0082047, in order to continue the operations at the following location.

Permit 1302047, located approximately 1.9 miles W of Tacoma on Guest River. This permit consists of 235.56 acres and can be found on the Wise, Virginia USGS quadrangle at North 3526570.1500 and East 10295058.2400.

There are ten existing NPDES outfalls on this permit, 002, 004, 005, 006, 007A, 010, 011, 012, 014 and 015. .Discharges from these outfalls are from drainage and waste water from the permitted operation andwill be discharged as follows: The receiving stream is Guest River. Renewal Map is located in Section 21.2 of the application.

Any person with a valid legal interest which might be adversely affected by this proposal, or an officer or head of any federal, state or local government agency or authority, may within 30 days of October 3, 2025 submit written comments or objections concerning this application, and may also request, in writing, that the Mined Land Repurposing Program hold an Informal Conference concerning this application.
