BEATRICE DYSART HALL

Beatrice Dysart Hall, age 82, of Kingsport, Tennessee passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on March 2, 2026, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Bea was born April 18,1943, to W.C. Dysart and Beatrice Thomas Dysart in Appalachia, Virginia. Bea graduated from Appalachia High School. In August 1963, she married her high school sweetheart, Walt Hall. After they married, they moved to Kingsport, Tennessee where they raised their family. 

Bea worked as a Licensed Dispensing Optician for over 40 years. She served on the Tennessee State Board of Dispensing Opticians for many years. She was deeply committed to the profession that she loved. 

Bea’s greatest joys were her grandchildren. She always said they brought her joy every day. 

Bea is preceded in death by her parents, W.C and Beatrice Thomas Dysart; three sisters, Ella Jenkins, Carolyn Turner and Rachel Dysart; three brothers, Bill Dysart, Thomas Dysart and Melvin Dysart; and great grandson, Gunner John Shaver. 

Bea is survived by her husband of nearly 63 years, Walter Henry Hall, Jr.; daughters, Kristi Noel Hall Shaver (Scott) and Kelli Denise Hall; grandchildren, Morgan Walter Shaver (Chasitey), Megan Noel Shaver Dampf (Philip), Emma Grace Hall and Jackson Henry Hall; great-grandchildren, Caroline, Beau, Ellie Kate, Quinn and Jameiyes; sister, Gloria Dysart Gillenwater (Bob); and brother,  Matthew Dysart (Sabrina).
